When you enroll in a Hashcable cohort, we collect your full name, email address, and phone number through the enrollment form. Payment details (card, bank, or mobile money information) are entered directly into Paystack's secure checkout and never pass through or get stored on Hashcable's own systems.
If you sign up for cohort updates through the "Get Updates" popup instead of enrolling, we collect only your full name and email address.
We use your information to:
We only send you email if you've enrolled, signed up for updates, or otherwise contacted us, and only after you've explicitly agreed to it via the checkbox on that form. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Payment processing is handled by Paystack, who process and store your payment details under their own privacy and security practices. Hashcable does not have access to your full card details at any point.
By enrolling, or by checking the consent box on the "Get Updates" popup, you consent to receive the corresponding emails from Hashcable. Any non-essential update or announcement email, including cohort reminders sent to "Get Updates" signups, includes an unsubscribe link. Emails required to deliver the course you paid for (schedule changes, access details, and similar) will continue for the duration of your access, since these aren't optional if you want to complete the cohort.
We keep your enrollment information for as long as your course access is active, plus a reasonable period after for record-keeping. You can request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us, subject to what we're required to keep for legal or accounting purposes.
